You'd be surprised what happens. I dropped my phone once in San Francisco and had it run over by a cab. Phone was undamaged but the otter box` took the hit. Crazy stuff happens. YOu will not regret it. I have dropped this phone off my best friends roof, down concrete steps, and even my sisters motor cycle run over it. The otterbox was damaged on the out side, but the phone was not touched. So for me this has been my best insurance plan for the iPhone for the last 4 years. I know some don't like this case, because it makes the phone a little bulky. I will take bulky over having to buy a new phone for 700 bucks, and I like the handy belt clip. This model is basically just like all the other models, except it feels a little lighter, and the home button is exposed. It's indented, so not easily scratched, kind of neatly placed if you ast me. And the finger prints that I had saved, are still working with the case on. I am actually impressed with this case, I would give it a 5 out of five stars. NIce design, very light wait, and easy to open and remove. I do that about once a week to make sure is all clean and tight.
