That you cannot do. It is drm protected m4b and that apple has not aloud to be
transfered, I don't think. Not even if you loose the book.

how can I take an audiobook purchased on my iPhone but in the I books up and
transfer it to dropbox? I did sync my iPhone with my Mac and it is now in
audiobooks in iTunes. however I am not sure of the format of the book. I am
able to copy an album I purchase but I don't seem to know how to copy the
audiobook.

Since the music is not drm protected you can convert them, however most
things now can play m4a files.

You can burn natively out of iTunes which should take care of your CD
problem although honestly I can’t think of the last time I used a CD.

As for the files themselves, I believe you can convert them I have however
not done this so that’s why I didn’t answer the question, no first hand
knowledge. I’m sure you can convert though whether it’s legal under
Apple’s terms I don’t know but should be under fair use.

So will apple let you convert it to another format to put on other things
or burn to a CD that will play in any CD player? Thanks the other answer
was helpful.

You buy the content on one device and it’s available on all your others.
In some cases it automatically downloads, in others it just shows up in
the list as it’s stored in the cloud. Either way you don’t have to do a
lot of transferring and file management.

Well, never have bought music before thru iTunes on the computer or my
phone. So the question is if I buy it on the iPhone and transfer it to
the computer I assume I can do that since it is something I bought? The
other question is when I buy something on the phone like music I assume
it will go into the music player on my phone? I also assume my music will
be backed up to the cloud I assume ? I also assume you only can play this
on IOS or Mac or whatever that has iTunes on it only? Another words you
say could not put it on some other MP3 player or computer ? I assume you
could burn a disk as well that would play in any CD player?
I am new at buying this music stuff I usually just stream my music.
Thanks for any input.
