Well there is several things out there for the Mac. Docuscan is one of them.
There is some free one I think fine reader or something like that . then you
can run windows on the Mac for things you need that is not on the Mac OS!
Like a virtual machine or boot camp, which will put windows on the Mac.Also
if he has a IPhone with KNFB reader and a stand for the iPhone it makes a
very good portable scanner. I sure others will have input!
