[mac4theblind] How to hear dropbox inform me when it is syncing files across to my Mac?

Hi all, a somewhat long subject line but I'll try to explain it better here.
The best way I can describe it is that when you use Windows and switch between
computers, when you update dropbox on one computer and use it on another, you
get a message by screen readers informing you that dropbox has synced all files
and is up to date.
Well in short are there any ways I can do this on a Mac running Lion v7.4 and
voiceover. I can go to my dropbox folder and check my documents but I don't
know of any way that I have been updated.

Thanks
