Hi Rory and Kliphton, think I've got it sorted out now.

Here is what I did.

1. Tabbed to the add button and hit space on that.
2. Map this key From: which I changed to right alt. (technically my right
command key)
2. tabbed to: To this key: which I changed to the application key.
For some reason it calls it special which I don't understand but there you go.
3. Tabbed to the Ok button. Hit space on that.
4. This new key assignment appeared in the list which before was previously
empty.
5. Last step: tabbed to the write to registry button and applied the new
changes.

This is how I did it and it seems to be working.

Did I do right?
I kind of see what you mean now when you say it can be a little "touchy" LOL
But at first I got it wrong and was thinking of the Mac side of things. E.G. I
was thinking why isn't the right command key in this list? However, once I
thought in Windows terms and applied some logic I.E. thinking that my right
command key is my right alt key, things started to click into place.
Somewhat complicated I know. It took me a while! LOL

Hope this makes sense for you guys!

Daniel
