Hello everyone,
I am trying to use Kodi on my Mac. For those that don’t know what Kodi is, it
is simply an open source program that allows you to manage all of your media
content on whatever device that you have it installed on. You can also get
access to a great number of content from the Internet through the use of Add
ons which you install from the Kodi interface.
The problem for those of us that use a screenreader is that Kodi is not
accessible out of the box. There is however an Add-on that is suppose to give
the user some access by using the system voice. This Add-on is called “Kodi
Screenreader.”
I have followed the instructions and I know that I have installed this Add-on
correctly but I am still not getting any speech when I am in the Kodi interface.
I am running Kodi 17 on a MacBookPro running Mac OS Sierra.
Is there anyone out there that has been able to get Kodi running with the Kodi
Screenreader? If so, would you be so kind as to give me some instructions as to
how I can get this working on my system?
Thank You,
Scott************
