My apologies for such a long post. But I haven’t admittedly been paying as much
attention to this list as I should, however, there were some deeply disturbing
comments that I just read on AppleVis, since they announced about no longer
accepting podcast submissions. I am wondering if anyone on this list has mixed
feelings about this? I have never posted podcasts myself, however, I do not
like that the community never seems to have any input in them making decisions,
and they always seem to do things like this, where a decision is made, and
there is no turning back. Having said that, I don’t like the sniping at the
editorial team that some of those posters put up on the blog, because I don’t
ever feel as though blind people get anything accomplished when they just yell
back and forth at each other. Just wondering what everyone’s thoughts are, and
whether AppleVis’s explanation was mishandled at all, or was it properly
handled? I still wish AppleVis would give the Mac more coverage, which is one
of the reasons I have been a huge supporter of John’s tutorials. Sometimes, I
do actually benefit from audio tutorials. Not just a written blog post. Even
Fedora Outlier, who does the Mac Master Series uses video posts to demonstrate
things.************
