Sure, there’s a few ways to fly the quad copters I have right now. First is
just with the joysticks on the controller. The left hand is pitch and yaw and
the right hand is forward / backward and strafe right or left. Similar to a
helicopter but instead of having foot pedals to control the tail rotor you use
your left hand.
The iPhone and android apps are accessible to a point and you get a full SDK
for C+ or Java to write your own applications. GPS can be programmed by
touching a point on a map or sending the coordinates numerically to the
quadcopter and then it works out a route based on it’s current position. The
new versions just released also have the ability to avoid obstacles on their
own using stereo

So I’ve gone pretty far down the drone path.
I have a DJI phantom 3 professional with several upgrades, I have a custom
built racing drone and I’m working on an autonomous flying drone as well as a
sub $200 kit people can build themselves.
Flying is more accessible than you’d think depending on the platform. My DJI
Phantom 3 has two different satellite navigation systems, 2 compasses, 2 gyros
and an altimeter.
I started a group for blind drone users or we can continue here if nobody
objects. Either way.

See here we go, I just got an Apple watch and it’s going to be time to swap it
out with a new one.:)
Just like I just bought a drone and the new model was released today.
It’s a never ending spiral. It’s like crack, electronic gotta have it, go in
