I went to Kisatchie NF today primarily to check for King's hairstreaks and
Meske's skippers.  I checked the usual places, but found no King's.  I also
found no Meske's skippers, but that's probably understandable because it's a
little early for them.  However, there were plenty of flowers and many 
butterflies.  Horace's duskywings and southern broken-dashes were plentiful.  I
saw six common wood-nymphs which for me is a large number.  The best butterfly
was a dusky roadside skipper.  The complete list is below.
