I went to Kisatchie NF in Natchitoches today for about two hours.  The main
purpose was to look for Streker's giant skipper.  I saw one bug that could have
been a Strecker's, but it flew away as I walked by not allowing a good view.
It was the right size and color, but I didn't see it well enough to
unequivocally identify it.  However, there were very few butterflies present.
See the list below.  Compare today's butterflies with a few of those on April 8
at the same location:  35 dusted skippers, 88 pipevine swallowtails, and 65
palamedes swallowtails, 20 northern cloudywings, plus many others.
