Forward Post From LA-CEMETERIES

I am very interested in any information on the Edwards Cemetery in East
Baton Rouge Parish as this was my grandfather's family. The Tanglewood
subdivision in what is now Central City was built over it. The only
people I know for sure who are buried there are my g-great grandparents,
Jesse (1834-1876) and Mary Sullivan Edwards (1839-1893).

My mother indicated that the bodies were not disinterred, that the
cemetery was simply plowed over to make the subdivision.
