silly question, but what the hell is an "arrestor" that one affixes to a
chimney?
okay. "me" is me. that's a pix of me on the roof.
a "spark arrestor" is a wire mesh box that you put on top of a chimney. If
sparks come up
the chimney, the mesh traps them. otherwise they fly out and possibly (a
very slight chance)
land somewhere and start a fire.
