OK, so given that there is a level of existence that is prior to symbolic articulation -- the imaginary, a pre or non linguistic mental (or emotional) state, the semiotic, etc -- its being would have to remain a mere postulate and its condition unascertainable as long as it is prior to articulation. However, does not the mere naming, or even negation, of such a state imply its existence, even if only in discourse? (What else is there?)
