South African Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma has been appointed
as new chair of the African Union. Some of us still remember her crying on
television after the horrors of 911. One is reminded of the words from Yeats:
The broken wall, the burning roof and tower[20]
And Agamemnon dead.
Being so caught up,
So mastered by the brute blood of the air,
Did she put on his knowledge with his power...?
May her reign be happy and prosperous!
