I followed the link on the site that David Ritchie sent and found atheism.  It 
was rather interesting.  Non-philosopher that I am, I learned that there are 
different types of atheism.  (It seems that I match the rationalist school.)   
In reading the site I began to wonder if Marlena was really asking why anyone 
would choose to live without belief in god.  I know she said " the wonderment 
of why >people bother to continue to live even if they are atheistically 
inclined > (or, at least, do not believe in a Supreme Being or G-d)."   Is this 
what you were saying Marlena?  Why anyone would choose to live without belief 
in god?  That makes sense.  If that is in fact what you meant, then I apologize 
sincerely for being uncharacteristically uncivilized.
