The taxi driver insisted

I laughed.
I loved that about him,
especially as it was you who had to
forked over the forty dollars.
I loved how you felt me out
through forty-two
strategically chosen
questions.
Yes, you finally decided,
I was still all about you.
So what are you thinking, I said.

And then we went to bed.
I think best in bed
and I think that
the most important idea I've ever had
was you.
All else is ridiculous.
