This is pretty cool.

There are video games that give you tremendous control over the characters, plus control over the point of view, zoom, etc., and you can record the display.

Kids are taking this and using it to create their own movies. Characters, plot, voice, sets, sound effects, music, and so on. The result is as good as professional animation from 5-10 years ago, and it's done with a $29 video game.

Go to YouTube, Google Video, or whatever, search for machinima (machine animation), and watch a few of these. Some of these are extremely funny.

Sure, there's enough copyright violations to employ a busload of lawyers.

Okay, many of these are amateurish, but it's kids who are making these. Totally 
clever.
