From the BBC (the headline is my own): The Royal Navy warship HMS Monmouth has been enduring storm force 10 winds in the Bristol Channel between Porthcawl and Lynmouth. The ship's commanding officer, Commander Tony Long, said the 170 crew on-board were coping well and he planned to remain out overnight, hoping for a drop in the wind on Friday morning. "A few of the younger sailors are still trying to find their sea legs, conditions are quite lively," he said. Good wishes to Judy.
