Another lesson from my Lessonary: Don't ever think you know anything about
anything at any time. Consider this: or that, for that matter. Yes, life
is full of living examples of why we should not think we know from nothing.

I used to live a quiet life among the minnows in my aquarium. Then it came
to me: They didn't know about Jesus whose emblematic image is a fish! So I
began preaching to them, plunging my face into the water and preaching to
them about God and their position in the universe. But they never heeded my
preachments. None ever blessed themselves at the the holy name. Nor has
any other kind of existence that I've preached to: worms, birds, flies,
fleas -- I'm about ready to give up preaching. Ach! How can one ever give
up preaching?
