HI,
Well, is that not just what Mike G has been saying for ages on this List?

Or, those of the rest of us who have said things like ... 'People are people
and people are stupid. People are stupid and persons are smart.'

Though magazines like Christianity Today and the other evangelical (or, even
more critically...the fundamentalists of all types--the current religious
establishment, no?) ought to be paying attention:

Wicca is actually the fastest growing religion now...

And, here is more regarding what is coming up with our Young

Gen Y Questions Formal Religion

A majority of young adults say that religion and spirituality are important
parts of their lives, but instead of following religious establishment, they
are opting to explore faith in untraditional and often highly personal ways. A
survey of 1385 Gen Y Catholics, Protestants, Jews and Muslims (ages 18 to
25) reports that many young adults express their faith in informal ways such
as
praying before meals, talking with friends or reading religious
publications. Only seven percent said all their friends were members of the
same
religion. Fifty-three percent support same-sex marriage rights and 63% support
keeping abortion legal. The survey was conducted for Reboot, a national
network for
 young Jews.
