Robert Paul may have had his tongue in his cheek, but I see nothing
particularly mockable about child slavery or child sex slavery. Those are
not theoretical issues. They are happening now, and he was chiding me for
shopping at Walmart when most likely Walmart hires sweat shop workers. I
was responding to his words, not to his tone. You realize, don't you, that
if I had not sent a note regretting my tone, you might have just asked me
about my preconceived notions instead of going through this exercise. On
the other hand, my preconceived notions are worthy only of contradiction by
you, since no matter what I say, you find fault with it.
