Correction, the word should be deflationary depression like in the 30's, not inflationary. An inflationary depression is what it looks like we might be facing today. It's different from the stagflation of the 70's. Inflation is good for the national debt, it's one way that countries reduce their debt, inflate it away. So, pick your poison: a deflationary depression like in the 30's without stimulus, or hyperinflation from too much money in the system that the Fed in pushing in.
