Btw, what's that guy's name who appears periodically on the Today, Show?
Jewish total gay guy who gives fashion tips on handbags that cost in the
thousands, half-ounces of perfume for merely hundreds, and shoes to die
for.....(wonder how many sisters HE had!)

He's the only one I trust......

But what kind of non-denim trousers will she wear this year? Everyone knows
that fashion writing, like wine writing, can seem to an outsider to be
amazingly stupid, but...well you may have missed this gem in Sunday's NY
Times:

In this year of outre denim, G1 has produced a collection of women's cotton
pants with nary a garish logo nor a lick of Lycra in sight. G1's designer,
Yoonah Shogi, has taken fine Italian baby poplins and twills and hand-washed
them in a palette of saturated pastels and neutrals to create a high-quality
casual pant. Whether cropped, Capri or full length, the sexy silhouettes
offer an alternative to blue jeans. Ms. Shoji's signature is in the
details; hand-frayed hems, contrast-stitched buttonholes, a tiny painted
logo ($120-$150 at Henry Lehr in New York).

To the untutored eye, they look rather like a pair of beige cotton trousers
that have become somewhat frayed around the edges, a score from a thrift
store. I do think it's great, however, that Ms. Shogi refuses to rely on
cheap labor, and hand washes every pair herself.

Though denim is "outre," being sprayed all over with "a fine mist of
24-karat gold that gives skin a glittery sheen for 24 hours" is not. This,
according to an adjascent article about spa trends. Just thought you'd like
to know.
