Does not compute, Judy. If we are worried about Palin's inexperience because
she will be vice president, we ought to be much, much, more worried about
Obama's inexperience because he will be President. Presidents normally don't
get advice from their vice presidents. They have cabinets for that. Obama
will be the least experienced president in a very very long time -- more than
100 years if you don't count Willkie.

Palin has proved herself a quick learner. The Obama campaign pushed on her and
came up short. All comparisons between Obama and Palin came up short. Even if
she only governed a small part of the U.S., it is more than Obama governed.
And she did so well as governor of Alaska that all the Republican big guns
turned to notice. She was in everyone's top five. She wasn't in anyone's top
"one" but McCain's. She is talented, smart, and a quick learner. Also, she is
going to be Vice President where her relative inexperience (relative to
McCain's not Obama's) can't hurt anything -- unlike the situation we would have
if the inexperienced Obama were elected.

Another thing about Obama's inexperience. I don't think he knows he's got it.
He comes across as knowing how to do everything. He advises others. He doesn't
get advice. If he's elected don't expect him to spend much time listening to
Joe Biden -- in my opinion.

(That's arguable but anyway) that isn't why the Obama campaign isn't
attacking Palin. Furthermore, Obama was not
chosen as a running mate, he did choose, as running mate, someon with
considerable foreign policy
experience. And furthermore,

>Palin, who governs .2% of
>the U.S. population, has neither foreign policy experience nor
>knowledge of international leaders and countries.

Obama has a fair amount of 'knowledge of international leaders and
countries' (as has McCain, yes) in his personal capacity and as a senator
and candidate. It's pretty clear he actually knows what 'Europe' is like
(not surprisinglu, given his family ties). To compare Obama and Palin is,
I'd say, stupid.

Full disclosure point. Our monarch is Commander in Chief of the Armed
Forces. Though the post is purely nominal, all heirs to the throne serve in
the armed forces (William will have trained in all three) as a gesture to
the importamce of the kind of understandinf of which Coyle speaks.

Hi Marlena.

You may not have gotten the word. The Obama campaign has given up attacking
Sarah Palin. None of the stuff like what you quote below is good for Obama.
However little experience Panlin has, she has more than Obama. The Obama
campaign figured that out, but lesser lights are still burning.

A person like your commander below, who ever she is, is damning the
torpedoes and charging full speed ahead. Obama cant control everyone. And
this is going on until the election:

1) Look how little experience Palin has. Shame on McCain.

2) Hey wait. She has more than Obama. Shame on . . . Hey!

Lawrence
