In case you're wondering if you wasted your education in philosophy, here's 
what a Ph.D. in 
molecular biology will get you: an intern-level two-month contract. No 
benefits, no health 
insurance, no job security.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Uses technical expertise, product knowledge, information on marketing 
strategy, and 
communication skills to facilitate smooth transfer of products from the lab to 
the market by 
working effectively with Product Managers, R&D, Technical Support, Quality, and 
Production.
- Writes, edits, and revises technical product documentation including User 
Manuals and 
Product Analysis Certificates, and coordinates or produces related graphics.
- Writes, edits, and coordinates marketing collateral such as brochures and 
flyers, and 
contributes to Clontechniques, the quarterly product newsletter.
- Provides editorial assistance to scientists for scientific manuscripts, 
posters, and other 
presentations.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in life science discipline, with particular emphasis 
in molecular 
biology and/or cell biology.
Other requirements: 2-4 years experience writing about life sciences (examples 
include 
research grant proposals, protocols, journal articles, abstracts). Requires 
high familiarity 
with molecular biology, excellent writing skills, and strong attention to 
detail.

SALARY INFORMATION
Type: Hourly $30.00 to $35.00

This is a 2 month contracting opportunity in Mountain View, CA. Local 
candidates only, no 
H1B or corp to corp. Pay depending on experience.
