[linux-cirrus] confugring cirrus-arm-linux-1.4.3.tar for making kernel and ramdisk

hello,
I want to configure the cirrus-arm-linux-1.4.3.tar provided by cirrus logic to
make my own kernel and ramdisk. I read the readme given by cirrus logic but
still not able to compile my own kernal.
please guide me,
