Hi,
a newbie question:

I have a board TS-7260

I took kernel 2.6.17 and applied patch-2.6.18.rc1 and compiled with gcc-4.0.1-glibc-2.3.5

When booting the new kernel (using nfs for rootfs and tftp for kernel image), I'm getting this error message:
" Error: unrecognized/unsupported machine ID (r1 = 0x00000163).

 Available machine support:

 ID (hex) NAME
 000003be Glomation GESBC-9312-sx
 000002a1 Technologic Systems TS-72xx SBC

Please check your kernel config and/or bootloader "

where is this MACHINE ID set ? Is there a way to specify the MACHINE ID as command line param ?
or to compile the kernel for generic machine ?

thank you
