Hi John

git clone https://github.com/liblouis/liblouis.git
git clone https://github.com/liblouis/liblouisutdml.git

should do. To get a repo that allows for pushing you need to use

git clone git@xxxxxxxxxx:liblouis/liblouis.git
git clone git@xxxxxxxxxx:liblouis/liblouisutdml.git

and connect with your credentials.
