I just thought it would be good to share my Urdu Grade 1 and 2 tables which I
have been working on over the past few months. They are a still a work in
progress and I’m not sure how to do a YAML test yet but they have been tested
on a few chapters of the Bible and work pretty well forwards but not backwards.
The basic characters are the same as Farsi but with one difference (\x0626) and
a few extra characters (\x0654, \x0670, \x0679, \x0688, \x0691, \x06BA, \x06BE,
\x06C1, \x06C3, \x06D2).
Also you will see quite a lot of the table entries are to do with changing the
order of the characters from how they come in the text file to how they should
come in the Braille.
So all in all I didn’t think it would work using the Farsi as an “include” and
then adding to it.
