Keith: Whatever the reason, now the site loads perfectly. Love your shots! During my tenure in the Marines, we made a practice amphibious landing on the south side in December 1965 - man was it cold! Rain, sleet, wind. Not your typical Mediterranean travel brochure weather. Of course, the weather improved considerably later in the week as we steamed off to Naples for some shore leave... Thanks for the pix . Bob On Jun 14, 2007, at 10:14, KEITH LONGMORE wrote: Hi Folks Glad some of you at least had a look! Doug S: kalispera and iasou. Looks like your Greek is better than mine. However: Ti kanete? Gala? Doug H: I understand - just thought that my post had vanished in all the posts going back and forth. Philippe: the main link is: www.gallery.leica-users.org/v/keith+longmore; there is a sub-album (Cretan Life) in the Jump to album drop-down on the left. (Very strange way to do it!!) Bob: is this the link that you tried? It worked fine at work, and does at home too. But these photographs are slow to download - they are big files, perhaps too big. Perhaps I should cut them down to about 2 or 3 MP for posting. All: I was expecting to have the BW shots from the Leica III to post by now, but it's that word 'should' again!! The Greek shop that processed the film has chemically contaminated the negatives, and our man in Dereham is still trying to clean them. I will post some more shots from Crete as soon as I can, though, now that I know the post did get through to you all.
