Dear members I'm curious about this thing used for focusing? (Ed Bougad asked fot it???)
Hi Linda!Ed did not ask for it. Aram suggested it, and I seconded the idea, as I used one with my Canons.... after Aram suggested it to me and I found it very helpful.
It is a magnifying eyepiece, made by Nikon. See:<http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/ProductDetail.page?pid=25339>http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/ProductDetail.page?pid=25339
It also fits the Canon eyepiece holders. See: http://www.furnfeather.net/Temps/DK21M.htm
Why do you need it...?
You need it only if you are using a Canon camera, and are having trouble focusing Manual Focus lenses (such as Leica -R lenses) on it.
Didn't know that existed??
Not many do. That's why they read this list!
What is it exactly?
See above. Hope this helps. --- David Young, Logan Lake, CANADA Limited Edition Prints at: www.furnfeather.net Personal Web-site at: www.main.furnfeather.net Stock Photography at: http://tinyurl.com/2amll4
