A rather cumbersome, hand held (and rested against the patio doorframe) Carl-Zeiss Tele-Tessar 4/300mm (looks like a CZ 135mm on steroids), with a focus confirmation adapter on my 20D. More or less wide open.
All the shots are edge-cropped to about half-size.

A very nice series, Douglas! And (except for the fuzzy logic shot) all "tack sharp".

Which camera/lens combo were you using?  The Novoflex?
