All:

Back on the 3rd of June, I posted a message linking a web page telling the known problems with both the Chinese AF confirm chips and the Russian Dandelion chip.

The main problem with the Dandelion chip, when used with an Olympus E3, has been resolved! Problem turned out not to be one with the E3 (as I has suspected) but with the Dandelion chip, itself, but only when used with the Telyt 400, f6.8. They are working on a cure, but meantime, there is a very simple, very effective work around.

Sadly, the Chinese made chips still have their problems.

For those who own, or who are thinking of purchasing an Olympus to back their Leica glass, will this page most interesting. For others it will merely be a curiosity.

Either way, it's available at: http://www.main.furnfeather.net/Links/OFC-1.htm

Cheers!
