Inquiring mind want to know. <<< I carefully erased the background from the bird/twig layer. While working near the bird & twig I used a tiny brush & 25% opacity at 100% magnification. I didn't want to create a hard edge, particularly where the edge of the bird was slightly outside the plane of focus so I erased a little at a time, building up the erasures gradually. Took hours. I'm going to do the same thing with this photo: http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/turdidae/wrsh00.html which was made in similar light. This photo as posted is biased toward good color balance on the bird. I want the palm frond in the background to be more green (as I remember it) instead of this yellow/green.
