As for the lens mount ... there are seven firms in the 4/3 Alliance, of which
Panasonic and Olympus are the big two. Being members means sharing the
technical specs of the mount, so every lens, from every maker, fits every m43
body perfectly. Just as you'd expect a Nikon lens to fit a Nikon body, or...
There is no stiffness or other problems. Everything just works as is should.
And, somehow, I'm glad it tastes like chicken!

Wow, no matter what the classification or local name might be, it's a------
great image, David! :) The sharpness and color rendering of that lens
are wonderful. I really like seeing the tiny little beads of water on
some of the petals. The lens is most assuredly "a keeper"...not that you'd
ever part with it, at least voluntarily; but, let's not push chance or
the force of gravity... too often with it. :)
Question for you regarding the first use(s) of it on the Olympus body.
Being Panasonic/Leica in make, did the lens mate up with the body
gently, or did you have to firmly install it a few times for the mating
surfaces to wear in together?
Oh wait! I have a post-script regarding the canned rattlesnake meat. I
had breakfast this morning with our local dentist's grandfather, a
energetic 97 year old retired citrus grower. When I asked him about the
product his eyes lit up and he recalled the business that was down in
Arcadia, 22 miles south of Zolfo Springs. And, yep, with out my
prompting, damm if he didn't say it tasted like chicken!
