Yes - somehow I had the same feeling when I was in
visiting one of the largest photo store in Singapore.
I was there to pick up some basic Fuji 100 slides.
Guess what? None in stock. However, what was
available, were the pro grade slides (including the
new, at least to me Velvia 100).
So looks like the last resort of those of us still
into analog photography - move upmarket, and into the
"pro-sector", and of course, be willing to fork out
the "pro" prices as well.
oh well... just me rambling on.
