My name is Peter Werner, I am an amateur photographer-collector. I live in Bursins, Switzerland and you can find my picture on http://www.werner.mu. I collect Alpas - and use them, too, because of their wonderful glass, maninly for Macro (www.alpareflex.com) - and Kilfitt lenses (www.kilfitt.org) When I need more modern tools (sometimes Autofocus and AutoExposure are handy) I use a Nikon F100. When travelling, my preferred camera is an old M3 with a collapsible 2.8/50 Elmar. My first entry into digital was a P+S 1.3MP Olympus and recently I got a Fuji S2 Pro that can use my Nikon lenses. I am not enthusiastic about the quality of digital pictures, I still prefer film. Recently, I acquired a Leica Reflex outfit: an R8 and an R9 with several lenses : 2.8/28 Elamrit, 4/35 PC Curtagon, 2.8/60 Macro Elmarit, 2/90 Summicron, 2.8/180 Elmarit, 4/200 Telyt, 4/100 Macro Elmar. 2 zooms complete my outfit: the 4/35-70 Vario Elmar and the 3.5/70-210 Angenieux. My main photographic interests : Orchids (www.orchids.mu), Roses, Birds (www.birds.mu) ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: www.horizon.bc.ca/~dnr/lrflex.htm Archives are at: www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
