Noel,

The demises are paving the photogrpahic history, so many cameras out of use, collectable, no more gilm (e.g. the rollei twin lens 4x4).

Probably the range of film will decrease. It will become more expensive as a hobby.

But I'm sure it will remain for a while. Many photog after a couple of viruses on their system feel the trust for a good negative and a scanner!

Let's carry on with our hobby.

As long as the sky don't fall on our head we are safe.

We seem to be under some form of attack, us film users. As James Bond said "Once is circumstance, twice is happenstance, three times is enemy action."

At least half the joy of photography for me is in the developing and printing of black and white images. Perhaps it's time to stockpile materials. Thank goodness I have a good selection of mechanical Leicas, Leicaflexes and Hasselblads and a decent darkroom setup to see me out.

Best wishes to all,

Noel
PS Leicaflex is such a lovely word in itself. We lost something when they dropped that name.
