Before it was lost (presumed stolen), I used a 28-35-50 Tri-Elmar with 90mm Tele-Elmarit and M7 as my everyday kit. I loved it.

On an M8 I'd think a 24mm / 25mm plus the 28-35-50 TE would do about the same job.
