Eastern guy and a hummer... Telyts are handy

The eastern gray squirrel's boldness attracted me. He'd been rooting around
underneath the bird feeder looking for spilled seed. It wasn't safe when
the human walked out with his long black tube though, so he got off the
ground fast. This same guy posed on my gate a few days ago (EF 400mm f/4 DO
IS):

Today, he scampered up the fence and acted like he owned the joint (Leitz

I noticed a female Anna's hummingbird exploring the tree behind the
squirrel. She didn't care about me or the bushy-tailed guy (Leitz 400mm
