this isn't a bird from our immediate area but i was so excited to share
because it was a lifer for us. lifers are becoming harder and harder for
us to find. this guy was photographed yesterday while birding in
guadalupe mountains NP. i thought it was a thrasher that we had already
seen and wasn't until i started looking at images from yesterday that i
said "hotdog". i tried but couldn't get a real clear shot because it keep
ducking into the shrub and it was windier than hell. that bonaparte's
would be a lifer for too. hope you like it.
