Greetings All:
I was just out watering my butterflies (I mist every flower in the yard,
censusing butterflies as I go) and heard the most amazing sound: an Inca
Dove barking from the depths of my largest brush pile. As I continued
misting, various birds were roused and a brace of Inca Doves burst from the
brush pile, cleared the fence, and dropped into my neighbor's yard.
This may not sound that amazing but this is the first sign I have seen of
Inca Dove in my neighborhood for some time - probably since early 2014 or
so.
Very exciting!
