While attending the Westwinds Brass Band's outdoor concert on Sunday evening, a
Common Nighthawk flew over the crowd of people at Wagner Park, 26th and Flint.
I know these are supposed to be common, but this is the first one we have seen
in many, many years. Guess we are just not out at the right time of day.
Pretty neat bird to see.
The concerts will take place the next 6 Sunday evenings, at 8pm. A very
worthwhile evening.
