I've occasionally had one this fall picking at squashed pecans on the
driveway....first one I ever saw in town. I had two thrasher nests out in the
canyon, one successful (4 chicks, a big nest in our patio wall art!) and one
in a cholla tree that, evidently, the snakes got (apparently a coachwhip) If
there's a snake anywhere on the property the thrashers let us know!
