Hello everyone,
Shiva Frentzen attended the meeting yesterday evening, and spoke up on our
behalf.
I am forwarding below an e-mail I received from her, which explains what is
happening, which I think you will all agree is good news for Latrobe
residents and the schools.
best wishes

Good morning Lewis,
I attended the emergency fire meeting last evening. I commented on the
urgency of the matter and the agreement contract that EDH fire has entered
into for providing fire/EMS at an “improved level of service” for Latrobe
residents. The committee reviewed the three options presented by the Chief
and a fourth option that was suggested at the meeting. The Chief will have
staff at station 91 location (outside the building) starting today so they
can continue to provide the same level of service to Latrobe residents
while working on other solutions.
Please keep me updated as I was not notified about the closure of this
station until yesterday when we received calls from Latrobe residents.
Regards,
