Thanks from the Bireley household, too. We also voted for Shiva. We were
following the money and thought yes on E and G seemed like the right way to
vote but had heard almost nothing from the Yes side. Rich

Just wanted to share a few thoughts with everyone, as we are all El Dorado
County District 2 residents.
Some thoughts about Shiva Frentzen who supported our community when
closure of the fire station was threatened due to a mold scare.
She really does have the interest of the taxpayer at heart, as was shown
at the Supervisors meeting on May 3rd of this year.
In response to an agenda item presented by the El Dorado County
Development Agency for a consolidated county fee schedule, resulting in
many fee increases throughout the county, *a motion was made by
Supervisor Frentzen, to deny staff’s recommendation, maintain the existing
fee structure* *and direct staff to return in three months with an
analysis on efficiencies and service improvement.”*
Her motion was unfortunately denied in a 3 to 2 vote, and the fee
increases were passed.....but she tried.. she did not go with the "system
politicians" votes
This was an example of her dedication to her constituents demonstrating
her resolve to seek out cost savings and efficiencies within the county
, which along with one of her other priorities " responsible growth"
makes her the ideal candidate to be given another term in office..
*I am also extremely concerned by one of the comments made by David Pratt
who is running against her, as reported in The Cameron Park Life newspaper
on May 3rd this year, and I quote from the article.... "he sees running for
elective office as ""another way of reinventing myself"".... "*
*I do not think we need a supervisor who want to reinvent himself at the
expense of the taxpayer.*
*Shiva Frentzen has established a solid record of putting the taxpayer
first in her short term in office, (elected in 2014) she focuses on
budget and local needs, is not supported by "big interests" , and I firmly
believe has earned the privilege to represent us for another four years.
She gets my vote...*
*and a few words about local initiatives E & G... Does the advertising
have you wondering which way is up.. ?? It certainly did for me...
Developers have poured more than $575,000 into NO on E & G.... Yes, the
developers want a big NO on E & G. the old adage,, "FOLLOW THE MONEY"
surely applies here.. !!!*
*The Sac Bee writer Peter Hecht did a good article on the subject which
was published last month, and you can read if by clicking on the link
