Planes and heli's of all sizes and types are invited. And, for "WATT" may be a first in Arkansas, there will also be a 60ft control line circle for the early adopters of e-power for th! is type of model. The Sky Tigers have already secured sponsorships from Great Planes, Horizon and Mark's Hobby Shop. Others are still in the works. This means lots of Goodie Man hand-outs to registered flyers and multiple raffle prizes. We do not plan to have any competition events, but will present awards to participants for "Pilot's Choice" and other such. We will also hold a "Night Flying" Friday night and again Saturday night after the banquet. Plan now to put string lights, LED's or even cyalum sticks on your planes/heli's, to join in on the fun. If you have yet to fly at night, it's a new and challenging experience... and kinda scary the first couple of times. The club will have lunch available both days, at the field. We will also have a "Field Banquet" at 6:00PM on Saturday. Awards and other forms of recognition and humiliation will be presented during this banquet. Tickets for the banquet will be available at ! the eve nt. Registration will begin at 8:00 AM both days. Flying will continue until everone is amped out. While it is not an official part of WATTOBER FEST, flyers are invited to stay over and fly with our club members on Sunday the 26th. For those who need it, the club will provide a generator based "Power Station" set of tables, where several flyers can use AC powered chargers. WATTOBER FEST 2008 is an AMA sanctioned event and AMA membership (card or recent receipt) will be required of all flyers. The event will be held at the Sky Tiger's Field, 9 miles East of Mayflower, AR on Highway 89. Flyers traveling to this event will find primitive camping available at the field for $5 land-use-fee (covering one or more nights). Motels are available nearby in Conway, Morgan and Little Rock. Directions and up-to-the-minute WATTOBER FEST 2008 information will be available at our website, www.arskytigers.org ! Make pl ans to meet your friends at WATTOBER FEST 2008... and leave the smelly, grungy glow fuel at home. -- Thanks, Stephen Pierce pierce.stephen@xxxxxxxxxxx 501-940-4313 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
