Hi everyone,
No, this is not an April fool's day lie or something similar. 0.9 gold
version is here! Gold, or final, means that this version is now
recommended for everyone to use. Any minor bugs found in final 0.9 will be
fixed in minor 0.9.1, 0.9.2 etc. updates as they become available.
Known issues for now:
Problem: When Skype is started by SkypeTalking, for some reason an extra
window titled "Skype4Py" will show up.
Solution: None available at this time, start Skype first and then launch
SkypeTalking if you wish to get rid of this problem. Press Windows Key+M
to minimize all windows in order to kill that Skype4Py window.
Problem: SkypeTalking may accasionally fail to restart itself after
switching to a new language, in case when it was started by the OS and not
launched manually by the user.
Solution: None available at this time, so if that happens, relaunch
SkypeTalking manually.
Problem: Holding and resuming a call may not work as expected if multiple
calls are active.
Solution: We will try to improve this in future updates.
Problem: Keystrokes may not work sometimes after upgrading to a new
version from 0.8 or earlier.
Solution: Delete configuration file SkypeTalking.ini and then reconfigure
settings if that happens.
Problem: Skype window is focused when SkypeTalking is started in case when
Skype is already running.
Solution: Must be fixed by Skype, it happens to Skype 5.1 or later users.
Problem: Commands may rarely sometimes stop functioning.
Solution: This may happen in case of API failure, so restart SkypeTalking
if that happens.
