Thanks Ray. I do have 'midi thru' activated, but I'll run through the 'midi device setup' or whatever it's called in protools. From memory I think I went there but was confused as to what I should do and afraid of clicking on something that will cause everything else to go out of whack. cheers Ron -----Original Message----- From: Ray Statham [mailto:raystatham@xxxxxxx] Sent: Thursday, 11 September 2003 3:53 PM To: korgypark@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [korgypark] Re: Porsche without a steering wheel Ron. I don't use Protools as a synthesizer, nor do I have a MS2000R, but it sound to me like you have the connections set up properly. I think you may have to make some settings within Protools to route the sounds correctly. Is there a 'midi device setup' window? Is 'midi thru' activated? Do you have to configure the MS2000R somewhere in Protools or OMS? I'm just shooting in the dark here as one guitar player (and synth wannabee) to another. I work with Cubase SL and have had my share of problems, so I can empathize.
