Hey Horse (trying to remember who... Wayne?), Robert and friends, S:^) America's "Homecoming" remains one of my favorite albums. Alongside the DVD-Audio (which I've misplaced!), I now have an early Canadian (off 2nd generation master tape) and early US (off seemingly 1st generation master tape) of the album (which I keep within sight)... Atop the impeccable sound (which has prompted audiophile friends to try and lean on me to trade my copy to them), everybody turns in absolutely great songs, Dan included: it shows how America was actually best compositionally when it was a three-piece. After reading anecdotes, however, I am certain Dan was much more at peace after he left the band. Yes, he is missed, and thanks for the notes, Glen (aka Barney Rubble) Sent from my iPhone > > This is uncanny! > > After work today, I drove up to my friend's cottage in the Gatineau hills > and we spent the evening by the lake.
